Hey everyone!

Sounds like everything is going good up there! Tan almost looks as good as me with his braces off! haha and i dont think i believe that mom got over a ten foot wall, but it could have happened, after all i do believe in miracles! haha love you mom!!! :)

This week was a good week! we found some really great people. E and G are progressing along great, but sadly they didnt come to church! E´s dad came into town saturday and they spent the day with him! but they said they are going to come next week which is good! And C (who is the mom of the girl we baptized about 3 weeks ago) still comes to church every sunday, but her husband still doesnt want to get married! it is sad, but we keep praying everyday! We just keep working and we know the blessing will come! for us and for our investigadors!

To answer some questions, yes i use my sleeping bag and my coat, and they do keep me warm for the most part, but unfortunatly winter just started 2 days ago, so we still have some pretty cold day´s ahead of us! Oh and it is soo cool down here becuase of the World Cup! When Argentina is plyaing, no one will talk with us, and i mean no one! haha so we walk around and sometime the members let us in, but just cause it is cold outside, and they watch the game while we talk about argentina and stuff! haha but i love it! well i got to go, but thanks for everything and i love and miss you all!

Hey everyone!
How are you guys liking summer break!! I wish you could send me a little bit of heat! haha. Things sound like they are going good! Dads email was so funny because he said mom spent all week looking for a rock worth a lot of money, and i thought she was looking for a new wedding ring!! haha. you will have to let me know if tan gets the job or not!

This week was an ok week for us! we started off finding a lot of really prepared people and having a lot of really good lessons! but by the end of the week we didnt and it was a little complicated! we couldnt get in touch with alot of them and none came to church! it was good to start off the week good, but now we need to finish good! Carlos ( the guy that had his wife pass away) is doing good! he told his boss that he cant work on sundays because he needs to come to church, and his boss agreed, but at the last second they needed him to work, so he didnt come! But we found a guy this week that is really prepared! he had a couple of people in his dance class that were members of the church. this was about 5 or 6 years ago! Luckily they where courageous and gave him a book of mormon at the end of the year! when we found him, he had already read it like 3 times and he believes that it is true! we are teaching him and he is progressing great! With that said, dont be afriad talk to people about the gospel! maybe they dont want anything, but every seed you plant can be like this guy, and when the missionaries find them, they will be prepared to hear our message!

To answer some questions, me and elder bagley are doing good! my favorite food here is empanadas or the barbeque´s here they are soooooo good! our house is bad because its really old and we have 6 elders living in 2 rooms, one for study and one for sleep! but we grow close together! OH and i live with Elder Chica now!! he was my dad in the mission! haha. i heard that we can recive packages if the things inside arent ilegal and the things inside are less than 100 dollars in total! you might want to do some searching to see if that is true! well i got to go, but i love you all alot and thanks for all you prayers!

WE FOUND A CHINESE RESTURANT LAST MONDAY!!!!!

It was so good!

Monday, June 2, 2014

Hey everyone

Wow things sound like they are going good! i loved the pics you sent! haha tanner im sorry but your going to have to get a little bigger if you want to beat me in an arm wrestle! haha Im way happy to hear Weston is getting better! And that it awesome to hear that dal played the piano for the baptism! tell brycen that im so proud of him!! we just baptized a girl about his same age! we are just waiting for her mom now, and her husband still doesnt want to get married!

We did find some great people this week though! we found a family of 5 that has a baptismal date! they are going to get the papers for marrige tomorrow! We also had an awesome experience! My comp. found a guy that was really prepared to hear our message before i got here! but he stopped by the 2nd time and his wife got really mad and tore up the book we gave him! she said she did not want to ever see us again! it was kind of sad, becuase he was so prepared to hear our message! the other day we were walking down the street and we felt like we should stop by for a visit! we knocked on the door and he answered it, and it turns out the the wife had passed away just 3 days earlier! we had an awesome lesson about the plan of salvation and he was very comforted by the spirit! it was a huge miracle! not that she passed away, but that we had the opportunity to teach him and that we was ready to listen! soooo cool!

Well i dont have much time left, but to answer a few questions we do have good things to eat here! we have a mcdonalds and a burger king! haha but the traditional argentine food it way better! it is cold here, but my winter stuff is keeping me warm! And it is really different from my last area! im sending pics so you will be able to see how it is! well i love you all lots and thanks for all the support!!

Hey everyone!

Things sound like they are going good up there! haha it is weird to see you guys in shorts and flips flops because it is cold here! haha i love all the photos of you guys! I dont think that i can send photos this week because our normal cyber shop is close today, and the internet in this new shop is really bad! but for sure next week!

This week was really good! we had the baptism of one of our investigators! it was a great experience and her mom came to the baptism and she wants to be baptized too! the only problem is that her ¨partner¨ (who is a member of the church) doesnt want to get married! we are praying that the lord will soften his heart and that she will be able to be baptized! i have seen the lord soften the hearts of some pretty sturn men in my last area and i have faith he can do it again with her ¨husband¨!

My new area is really cool! Mar del Plata is a big city, there is 3 different zones here!  Mar Del Plata North, central, and south! this last december, elder christoferson came to mar del plata to see if it is ready to make a mission! and we think in the next year or so it will become a mission! we walk a lot, but also there are buses that drive around the city, and you pay 4 pesos to get on and get off at your stop. it is alot different than trenque lauqen! we can´t use watches or rings and we can only use our camera on P-days, but it is still really nice and way more safe than buenos aries! haha! well got to go, but thanks for all the support and love, and for your payers too!!

Hey everyone!

Wow this past week a lot has happened! I have been transfered to Mar Del Plata! it is so crazy! i got here about 730 in the morning and the difference is so crazy! it is a huge city, and our house is one of the worst houses in the mision! haha how funny that i went from the best to the worst! haha we cant flush the toilet paper here and there is 6 of us in one house! i didnt find my camera, but im going to buy a new one and ill send you pics next week! the internet is way better here and i can send things basicaly just as fast as there in the US!

It was so sweet when i left Trenque Lauqen! we had a big party and then they all came to the terminal when i left! they all wrote me cards and gave me gifts, it was really sweet of them! it turns out that our area got closed! there was 6 missionaries in the same branch, so they closed our areà and now there are only 4 which is a way better use of missionaries! we thought that this might happen last transfer, but it happened this transfer!

Me and my new comp. have some good new investigators, and we are trying to prepare one for baptism this saturday! My comps. name is Elder Bagley! he is from Boise idaho! he is a big guy and he is really funny! i dont know him that well, but from what i have seen he is a good hard worker and i think we are going to work well together! our area is Monolito 1 and we have one of the best wards in the mission!
Oh and my ortho went fine! i have a new bottom retainer and he formed it to fit in my plastiv retainer! it was 300 pesos in total! that is like 40 bucks! Well that was my week, if you want to look it up on google maps just type in mar del plata, monolito. I love you all soooo much and miss you to!!

Hey Everyone!
It was so awesome to talk to you guys yesterday! It is crazy to think that i have already used up half of my “skype days” in the misión! Wow it goes by so fast! You guys all look so much older than when i left, and by the way, i dont have an accent, you guys do! Haha So i loved the video that you sent of fez opening his misión call, but we have no way to hear the video so i still dont know where he is going to serve! But i guess i will know in a week! haha
This week was an ok week for our investigadors! we had great lessons, but in the end none came to church! V almost did but we dont know what happened! we rode to church with him in his car but then he said he had to go drop somthing of at his sons house and that he would be back in like 15 min, but never came back! it was hard to see, but we are keeping up the faith that some of our new investigators will start comming!
well me and my comp are still doing good! he is very quiet guy and i do most of the talking throughout the day, but we are learning how to teach well together so that is good! somtimes its hard for him and me to get out of bed in the mornings, but we started a new work out program and i should be bigger the tanner when i get back! well got to go, love you all so much!

Hey everyone,

Wow things sound like they are going good up there! It is crazy that it has already been 5 months since i talked with you guys last! this sunday ( the 11th of may) at 4:30 (my time) i can skype you guys! im not sure if the time difference is the same becuase of day-lights-savings there in the US, so you will have to look that up!

This week was a good week! we finally are starting to see some success! this week we got an investigator to come to church with us! it was such a huge blessing! we found him on saturday in the afternoon and he said he was very interested! He accepted the invatation to be baptized the the 24th of may and came to church the next day! it was such a blessing to our fast! A miracle really becuase no one is outside walking during the siesta here, but he was and now we have a strong new investigator! unfortunately some of our other investigators dont wan´t to meet with us anymore, but thats ok. something that hermana Parreño said to us the last conf. really helped me. she talked about the importance of teaching well. but then she said that even the best missionaries in the world have lost investigadors, as missionaries we cant take away people´s agency, even the best teacher of all, heavenly father lost 1/3 of his children. as missionries our purpose is to invite others to come unto christ, but hey will always have the opportunity to not accept the message that we share! it was a real good boost that helped me out alot!

Well it is staritng to get a little cold here, i feel like it should be christmas soon because of the weather. haha me and elder Romero ( and elder that i live with from columbia) sing christmas songs all day now! haha and that is way cool that kason got his call to the Philippines! so stoked to hear where people are getting called to serve so keep me informed! well i love you all and if you have any questions ask them on sunday! take care and thanks for everything!
